Worm?
I am a first timer and am in the process of building my still and I have access to stainless steal tubing and was wondering if there is any reason I can't use it as a worm

Re: Worm?
If it is annealed such as a 304 grade you can wind it as you would a normal worm out of copper, not sure how tight you could wind it. There are several companies around that will do it for you or you could do it yourself.
I priced annealed 304 tube before and from memory it was not cheap.

Re: Worm?
Well I'm a welder and have a pin wheel I already twisted it I was just wondering if it would work I have already made it I just welded the tip to a piece of pipe and started spinning it in the pin wheel and hold the tube still so it would twist but the tube was free so that's why I want to use it if there is no reason why it wouldn't work
Re: Worm?
would depend on size of tubing and are there any flat spots in it if your talking brake line then no its too small the smallest we would go on a worm is 3/8 most wont go under 1/2 due to the fact that it can clog easily and mount pressure in your system doesnt take much to clog a 1/4 inch tube, not sure what your using as you dont give the size
