Once I had run my shine I put apple chunks in itand in one jar just for shits a giggles I through a hand full of straw berries with the sliced apple in one jar. Should I store it at room temp on top of my fridge or should I put it in the fridge and should I leave fruit in or strain it eventually

Taste dictates the answer to leaving it in or not. With berries I like to put them in a cloth strainer bag then put it in the alcohol so there is less straining later. I usually store in a room without a lot of light but room temp sure others have their own method.

Made some apple brandy a short while back. i aged some on oak and some on apple tree wood, the first week or so it tasted really good but by say the 3 or 4 week the apple wood had added a sot of bitter taste that I didn't really like that much. Since then others have agreed
