Parrot-parrot, have a look!

So I have now soldered two projects. I didn't even burn myself this time.
So I was inspired by some other builds, ie. SoTaShine, and since I am avoiding studying, I decided to make a parrot shaped parrot.
Picutres of the concept and the completion. It seems to work too.

Thank you all for the kind words, but don't feel like you need to stop.
So here it is in action.

Beautiful work on your parrot.... Now dont forget to put a small ball of copper mesh in the bottom so your hydrometer doesnt "commit suicide" when you drop it in. Maybe shoulda added a bottom dump for fores and draining but nice work.

nice work, no need for a drain if you waite for the 2nd or 3rd jar to put it under the takeoff. i like mine for seeing how the run is progreeing and decideing when to shut her down

How tall is the main tube where you drop in the hydrometer?
It is a very nice looking piece of copper by the way. Mine works but is not nearly as pretty.

If that parrot could talk she would say pretty parrot, pretty parrot. Parrot needs another shot. I bet that bird bites if its water gets to hot. Good work! How did you mount that thing to the board?

I knew the parrot polishing line would draw comedy. I do appreciate the compliments on the copper work.
The main tube is about 11" - with my hydrometer I can measure, in theory, 200 proof. If I drop the meter in a dry tube it disappears. I suspect mysterious forces of flow and tube interference may have some minor effect on reading. However my apathy generally overpowers any concerns that crop up.
The mount... Isn't really. Just a hole that the bottom cap sits in. I put a strip or two of paper around the bottom to make it snug. A one quart mason jar fits easily. Seems stable and can easily come out for times when I want to buff the bird. (Zero to Jr. high in 13seconds)

So random question...
Why can't I make a pic like this
my avatar? I shrunk this thing as much as I can, or thought.

Depends on what you are using to resize. The app I use, for my pics, will only let me go down to 100x70 pixels. Maximum is 80x80.

Success!
Paint did the trick, thank you Mr. Baked
And this design has been registered with the U.S. Patent office and any attempt to replicate this Parrot in whole or in part will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law~!!! But seriously, the detail didn't seem that difficult- go for it.
