As soon as it uses rectifying columns, isn't it immediately disqualified from being advertised a 'pot still'? I have nothing against these micro-distillers...but these Carl and Holstein stills, complete with columns, are not pot stills. Yet nearly every micro-distillery out there has an 'about us' page devoted to talking about the pure art of distilling through their heritage pot still.
Booze needs a story to sell...but buying a fairly high tech and complex copper still and advertising that you are using a 'heritage pot still' is a steaming slab of bullshit.
Please correct me if I'm wrong.
