compared sugar prices

Post by Bushman »

Yesterday at Costco sugar was $0.40 a pound so I bought 100 lbs. Just for kicks today I went into our regular grocery store and decided to price the sugar, the cheapest I could find was $0.74 a pound. Almost double and it was an off brand compared to C&H at Costco!

I Find the average price over here is about $1.70 per KG over here, but I think I have found a supplier willing to give it to me for about $1.15kg..

last time i looked at sugar prices i ended up shaking my head. I figured it to be more cost effective to make corn-6row bourbon mash to run as neutral than to make a sugar wash.

That's true just bought it mainly for birdwatchers and to experiment with flavored drinks from a neutral. This is more than just about drinking but a hobby to enjoy (love the journey never gets old).
