Thank you all

I would like to just take a minute and say thank you to all of the people here who have spent their time and given their knowledge to people like me. I taught my self how to distill but was smearing my heads all the way around and did not even know about 'cuts and fractions'. I was always wondering why I could not produce a clean whiskey. I got my first home still from a friend that showed me one time how to distill before he had to go on a state mandated 'vacation' before he passed it on to me.
Since then I have encountered many failures, limited successes and way too many frustrations. Although feeling a very high sense of accomplishment as I drank my first safe yet terrible tasting whiskey surrounded me I still was seeking knowledge. I was very iffy about doing any research on the net but I found this website. Boy am I glad that I joined this community! In the short time that I have been here I have been on these forums and parent site reading at least 1 hour a day. I remember the first day I joined I read so much my brain hurt and I had to pull up the wiki just to understand the terminology. Now I feel comfortable in what I am producing and will soon be running my first all spirit run from a sour wash recipe.
I can only show my gratitude to all those people who have helped me with critical info and patient hearts. Thank you all so much! I am in the process of building a new still with a friend of mine who is teaching me how to work with copper. I am so excited to be a part of this community for a long time to come! Thank you all very much!
