Seems strange, that apprentice ranking appears very early, then again you get that ranking after 500 posts. Well, I guess we are supposed to know enough now, to know that we don't know much :)

I've been wonderin' how the ranking system works ever since I started reading the forums. Care to inform us?

I reckon that that's the answer, Husker. Sorta like a medical doctor who specializes and suddenly becomes Mr Figjam instead of Dr Figjam. :)

I've actually tweaked them a few times. I reserve the right to tweak them again someday.

swillmaker 100-249
bootlegger 250-499
apprentice 500-999

No rank needed for me, I'm just rank period!
Still construction and number of distillations could provide an interesting ranking. My problem as with many of my friends is we suffer from CRS at times so stuff gets posted and re-posted etc.

I blame it on the little brain fart I had back in July of 99.

One of the first things I did once home from the hospital was sit on the back porch and watch it rain. Well here it is, 8 yrs later and I have yet another new hobby so I'm back on the porch every chance I get, doing something I really love, running my still and everything related.
