I've got the 4000w Chinesee controller and I'm wanting to wire it up to 220v. The one I have has 4 terminals on one side The question is do I run the 2 hot wires through the controller and the neutral straight to the hot plate? Any wiring diagrams or links to previous post would be perfect. I'd searched but didn't see anything on the controller for 220v
Thanks in advance

Look at my electric post in my sig. There's some diagrams on one of the pages. For 220 you dont need N. You run both hot L1,L2, in and out, and Ground to all things metal (the box you mount it all in, the keg, etc).

I got everything hooked up like the diagram but on the lowest setting the water is still around 100 degrees f. Do you think I should have any issues with that? I guess the resistance olms is not correct for my burner maybe.

Connect incandescent lump bulb (any wattage) to your controller instead of heating element. And check if it can dim a bulb.

It is adjusting the temp of the burner I was just checking to see if the temp will ever need to be under 100 F in a pot still I know you dont use a thermometer to run the still. I just want to make sure that when I get started I shouldnt need a temp lower then that so I don't waste my wash. Its the first real run after my cleaning runs and during those i wasn't worried about the drip rate
