Hello from Stl

Post by barefoot »

Hello from St. Louis,MO area. Just entering the hobby of distilling. I'm interested in trying many different receipes, and finding the one or two i really like and sticking with them. My setup is a 15.5 keg with a mile high 2"cross tower. Looking forward to getting a lot of useful information from this site. I've read and read and read, and have now run two batches and will continue to learn for you all.

Welcome to HD barefoot, I have a couple stills but I run my MileHi CM Reflux most of the time like right now, doing a stripping run but she has settled in at a constant 172F and a nice slow trickle, I'm going to leave it right there. Normally I'd run it a little harder on a stripping run but I'm in no hurry today. I'm doing a neutral and it's going to be supper clean. Enjoy your new hobby OMD
Sometimes I wonder why is that Frisbee getting bigger......and then it hits me.

Just joined tonight but also from STL. I have a column still from MileHi but I want to do a rum in it. If you plan to do something drop me a line because I'm definitely a newbie.
