finally got my controller hooked up. go outside, pop open the breaker box only to find there are no spaces left. had to make a few.

amps meter does not work on the controller, but it does work. no leaks inside the boiler.

fill the cooling barrel with water only to find it leaks bad. i go ahead and temp patch it.

fire everything up. 3 leaks in my copper piping.... out of solder....

off to town i go i guess....


worst part is the wash is already finished and i'm itchin to cook it!

I feel your pain. My first run was out of Laurel and Hardy. It'll make things better when you get there.

Yep thats the fun of doin it all your self you cant learn how to fix one rite ifin you aint never built one.

Leaks suck lol. I always use more than I should just to be sure. I had one leak on my still, first bead of solder I ever did. Then right in the middle of a run my worm bucket sprung a leak right at the bottom. Used a half a roll of electrical tape slowed it to a drip every couple of seconds. When I can I'm putting a liebig on. Easier to deal with.
