Back in the spring there was a lot of talk on another forum about the Moonshiners Jamboree in North Georgia. September 22. It will be at the Tallulah Gorge State Park. http://gastateparks.org/net/go/parks.as ... &s=0.0.1.5" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" rel="nofollow
I was wondering if anyone is planning to attend? We (wife and me) have scheduled a long weekend so we could attend. At present we do not have exact destination/arrival plans. Your input would be appreciated!
We are one week away. It's a 450 mile trip for us...one way. We are planning on attending but would certainly like to meet up with a few folks for some visiting. Is anyone going?
Hi Fly, This is not that far for me. I am in the Macon,Ga area. Yes, I plan to be there. Not hard to pick me out of a crowd. I may have a couple of buddies with me but I'll be the senior citizen with the white hair and beard. AKA the old fart with the walking cane. Be nice to meet some of you folks. I have really learned a lot from the regulars. See ya'll the 22nd. Morgan, from "Just south of here"
We are flying (private plane) or driving to High Valley Resort http://www.highvalleyresort.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" rel="nofollow in Suches, GA. It's about 50 miles west of Tallulah State Park. If they have any Bunkhouses (single room log cabin) available they are $40 a night. In any case...Kathy and I will be wearing pink shirts ...yes...real men can wear pink! ...anyway...that will make us easy to spot. Hope to see someone there
