Yes. I tried and it was a no go for me. I was using a drill and had the mill sitting on top of a bucket, at one point the rollers caught a grain or two and binded up. Damn near torqued my wrist and flipped the mill over dumping the entire hopper out and covered my dog (who happened to be sleeping on the ground next to me) in corn. Pissed me off but I couldnt help but laugh. Went to TSC and bought a sack of cracked corn and it chewed through it just fine. I'll be using my old faithful Corona for my shelled corn.

Oh and just a sidenote, If anyone thinks they could use a 1/2" drive air impact on a Corona mill and it wouldn't twist the shaft right in half, well....you'd be wrong.

I have the Monster Mill 2 and like it, all my research said that the extra cost doesn't justify the 3 for our purposes. My MM2 will mill corn and I put it on a regular motor so as not to have to hold a drill motor.

I spoke with them awhile back and they said no because the first grind is too tight and only the second grind is adjustable. however the new design 2 roller is good for corn with the hardened rollers.
