I also like bourbon and ginger ale, if I can find the good stuff. I make my own ginger ale, its better than anything that I have found on the market but its a pain to make. I mean that literally it is painful. My recipe requires that I peel a lot of lemons and the acid always gets under my fingernails.

It was my own recipe with Kellogg Frosted Flakes
http://homedistiller.org/forum/viewtopi ... 32&t=48273
100liters of water
2.5kg of Kellogg's Frosted Flakes
17.5kg of white sugar
100grams yeast
Used food processor to grind up Flakes.
Though next time I am going to double up on the Flakes
I used Frosted Flakes as I couldn't get regular Kellog Corn Flakes.
It was Based off of Odins Corn Flake recipe.

Thanx TP
I like the taste of this (because its good or because I made? who knows lol)
I am not sure what I am tasting, the corn or just plain old ethanol, but even with double shots it's not bad at all.
This is un-aged or flavored, just aired for 24hrs and then chilled in freezer.

Have you tried Vernors Mitchy? I grew up in Detroit and was weened on that stuff. Really really good ginger ale. its available in many, but not all, places around the country.

Sorry lol I was a little slow this morning.. I was thinking of these:
But I guess that would work anyway. I just assumed all the cereals had a bunch of preservatives in them that would mess up the yeast.
Good job man. I may have to check that recipe out.
