hello all
looking online at needle valves and have seen stainless steel one with the following spec
Made of Stainlees steel ASTM A182 F316
Threaded ends according DIN 2999 std.
Stem Packing PTFE + Graphite.
Max. Working pressure 3000 Lbs.
Pressure / Temperature Range:
1/4"-1/2” = 220 Bar / 260 ºC.
Stem Packing PTFE + Graphite. is there any issues with the graphite or is it ok within the valve

Sounds great but also sounds expensive,
The valve is rated at 3000 psi if it is for a BOK you will be working at less than 1 psi - it seems a bit over kill.
If the price is within your budget or you can get a good deal, I wish you well.

cheers
thank s for the replies
shipping from the us prob would be a problem to me, across the atlantic on the fringes of europe lol
the one above is only about 40 euro and available closeby, have seen some that are dearer also.
or also a 6000 psi one as below for just under 50,
" Needle valve 2
Made of Stainlees steel ASTM A182 F316
Threaded ends according DIN 2999 std.
Max. Working pressure 6000 psi at 38ºC.
Working Temperature – 54 to 232 ºC with
PTFE packing.
Safety bonnet lock prevents accidental
loosening. "
will be for a 3 inch bok,
going for the half inch valve rather than 3/8"
cheers

Yea, we have stuff for cheap on eBay also. You live over with the oppressed socialist monarchies..... Don't worry, we're fast on our way to join the fun!
Really though, if China ships here cheap, is it not the same for you?
