When soldering the consdenser worm i plan to use 4 peice of copper on all sides OR copper spacers to hold to coils even, do i need to use lead free/food safe solder for this since its an exterior application that won't come into contact with any liqour?

I am waiting of harris stay brite #8 kit but can get regular solder anywere in town ( non food grade, lead free)

You technically could but..... really? You don't have a hardware store with a plumbing section? Oatey plumbing solder is pretty popular too, it doesnt have to be Harris staybrite. What do people in your area do if they need a plumbing repair?

I just don't have leaded solder in the garage so I don't have to worry about making a mistake mixing it up one day.
