Looking for suggestions for a supplier of amylase enzymes?

Amazon has a few vendors that carry amylase. Enzymash has high temp enzymes as well, excellent for "pre-malting".

But wanted to try store bought enzymes.

Sure, if some one will give me advice on how to use the BA100 and GA100 enzymes.
I'll be making a BOP out of the ugliest keg I own.
Cut the bottom out of the keg, turn it over and attach a 2" gate valve for a drain.
I have some perforated SS that's 5' x 18" with holes around .04 with .10 spacing for a false bottom.
Will also build an electric heater on a stick.
I already have a drill powered stirrer and grinder.
The grain bill will be chicken scratch.
This will probably turn into one of my "learning experiences"
I understand mashing theory.
And have made a few all grain beers back in the early 1980's
But I'm not sure how much water and grain will fit in a 15 gallon pot.
Guess I'd better start with a small experimental sized mash.

Enzymes arrived.
But I'm not ready to use it.
I'm in the process of building a proper mash cooker.
Hate the thought of cutting on a keg for any thing other than a still boiler

The enzymes are good.
My idea of heating a corn mash with electric heaters sucks.
The forum members with education and/or experience,
Are snickering right now.
Plan B
Direct steam injection to gelatinize the starch in corn.
The boiler will be one of my old pots.
It will have a direct vent to the atmosphere, at a WP pressure just above what is needed to blow steam through the corn.
The same manometer I've used for years to measure pot pressure and as a safety pressure release, will be used.

Read some of Jumbo's recipes. Boil water, pour over grain. Wrap container to insulate. Stir every twenty to thirty minutes.when temp drops add enzymes instead of malted grains. Just make sure not to use the temp he uses for the malt. Use the recommended enzymes temp as I don't think the mash temp will drop with a spoon full of enzymes like it will with a few pounds of malt.

Thats Pintoshines new website. The >com does not work. Just ordered some the other day after some prodding. FInding corn and oats is easy, malted barley not so much. Dont want to order grain on the web. No good reason. Just dont.

Would anyone be interested in producing there own in the states via bacteria? Looking at the prices your paying and knowing there are a few over there with enough know how to process the culture (its similar to fermenting actually), I can supply the pure bacterial cultures. We always use our own cultured enzymes here as we are able to purify them to a higher standard than most chemical supply places (I exclude SIGMA ALDRICH from this).
Anyway just a though it might be cool to start some things gong like a forum shop that supplies its own cultures or actually purified amylase etc. I am surprised with so many members you use commercial strains. With a little organization you have a fantastic chance to start a unique yeast gene bank here from some the things I have read.
