Agree. Start with higher proof so your final product would be 40-45%. Otherwise looks good. I prefer cider to juice but that's me. Try both and see what you like.

I do this.

2 one quart mason jars
2 cans of frozen apple juice concentrate
1/4 -1/3 cup of brown sugar
2 table spoons of cinnamon
1 table spoon of Nutmeg
½ Table spoon of ground Clove or 8 whole cloves
2 Tea bags
Make the Apple Pie Flavor
Take the tea bags, carefully remove the staple without tearing the tea bag. This makes a long tube. Fold one end of the teabag over 3 times and re-staple that end.
Mix the cinnamon. Nutmeg and ground clove thoroughly. Place the mixture in the tea bags, not more than 1/3 full. (only 1/3 IMPORTANT or the tea bag will burst) Fold the top of the bags 3 times and staple shut. . Set aside.
In a sauce pan, empty the two cans of apple juice concentrate. Add the packed amount of brown sugar. Heat to a boil, turn down and simmer for 5 minutes.
Allow to cool to room temperature and pour contents into a one quart mason jar. Drop in the filled tea bags. Close the jar and gently swirl around. Place on the counter for 48 hours. Gently swirl as often as you can over the next two day.
After 48 hours, carefully remove the tea bags and discard. Store in the refrigerator.
To make the apple pie moonshine.
Add the a pint of moonshine in the second quart mason jar. Start of by adding five ounces of Apple pie flavor. Taste. Add more Flavor and adjust per you desired sweetness and taste.
Make a note the amount of flavor you use per pint.
