Well I ran a small test batch to test out my home made equipment and I guess it was successful . I used a corn syrup/sugar mash just 2 gallons. I ended up with 35 ounces of perfectly clear product. I am not the best at making cuts yet so every few ounces I taste tested a little on a spoon and then lit it on fire. I called everything that wouldn't stay lit tails and I'm happy with whats left. My only regret is not starting bigger lol. Half made 4 quart jars of some (strong)peach pie and the rest I like to sip on straight I like the way it seems to evaporate off my tongue when i take little sips lol. Thanks all of you that gave advice I would have ruined it without ya

maybe im not getting something but how did you get 4 qts our drinkable product out of a 2 gallon run? I get about a gal of low wines from a 5 gl
charge of 10%
also trying to light distillate to see if it burn is not the proper way to make cuts. alcohol wont burn under 100 proof (not sure of exact abv) but in either case tails often have tons of flavor even at lower abv. , so why would you dump likker that you think is " tails" that could very well be good likker to drink? might be time to read up on cuts.
a little info on your rig would help us point you in the right direction (if needed)

Everything I did to make this can be found on this site and to be honezt I expected a 5th per gallon im surprised you think what I got was alot

Oh and that wine you make must be good if you think 35 ounces is four quarts buddy lol you are seeing quadruple I guess you got confused when I said I made the four quarts of peach pie . If you google you will see the recipe for peach pie is low alcohol content kinda like what id call a chick drink I made it for my wife just a mixed drink I hope this clears up the confusion
