Hi every one
i want to make mash with water/sugar only
it's just for testing
my recipe is :
3 L water
700 gram Sugar
2tbspn Bakers Yeast
2tbspn Tomato Paste
i mixed tomato paste with equal amount of water and put 2tbspn of baker's yeast
and then put 700 gram of sugar in a 3.8L fermenter
then poured 3L of water (and shock the hell out of the fermenter till the sugar is dissolved completely)
and then poured the mixture of tomato paste/water/yeast into the fermenter
put a ballon over the mouth of the fermenter
and now i'm just waiting for any signs of fermentation
i saw some bubbles inside the fermenter but the ballon didn't inflate (maybe coz it's a big ballon?)
---------------------------
i'll tell you the results later but my main Question is :
What is better for Yeast Nutrients:
Milk or Tomato Paste
and if i put a tomato paste, wouldn't it affect the tsate??
P.S (Don't tell me to buy yeast nutrients coz we don't have a brew shop nearby)
What is better : Tomato paste or Milk, for Yeast Nutrients?
