Can E85 Fuel be distilled for consumption?

THIS IS VERY DANGEROUS AND I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS TO ANYONE!

E85 or 85% Ethanol and 15% Gasoline is very cheap in terms of unit price for
ethanol. Is it possible to distill off the gasoline? Has anyone tried this?

I am not planning on doing this, rather just curious as to if it can be done or
are there other elements in the mix that won't come out. Methanol maybe?

THIS IS VERY DANGEROUS AND I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS TO ANYONE!

oh yea, i do it all the time, it's so much easier than taking the time to do all the reading, learning, absorbing info, making a mash, using a hydrometer, ect, ect, ect. than most people here do.....
go ahead and try it, it's a BLAST !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
NOTE...
above comments are fictional, and are not recomended for anyone with more that 2 brain cells to attempt...
i can't beleive you'd ask a question like that

I forgot I should know anything. I post a warning at the beginning and end of
the message, so your bashing of me is just stupid. I guess oil isn't distilled
 . How do you think we get gas, buddy? You think it magically converts
from crude oil to gas, kerosene, asphalt, etc.? I'm pretty sure that the plants
that refine crude are giant distillation facilities.

Anyway, if done right, with a non-open flame and a sealed unit, gasoline
can be distilled off of liquids.

Again, I'm sorry that I have questions. We all can't be geniuses like you.

It might be able to be done at large scale factories, but Im just an average joe punchclock I wouldnt trust drinking anything I distilled that at one time had 15% gasoline in it.

If your in it for the cheap clean 40% can be made for about $1 a liter.

I wouldn't even joke about re-distilling E85. Some fool may try it. Also it will only give more ammunition for the war against fuel alcohol.
