No snow in my AO Bushman. The moisture ran out before the cold made it down from the north. We'll see what I wake up to in the AM.

Weatherman said it snowed all night last night. This morning you could still see the concrete through the fluff.

The leaf blower took that off in seconds. The tractor is on standby.

Meanwhile on the East Coast of Canada, it’s still sweater weather and only rain, no snow. Kind of... odd. :wtf:

Woke up this morning to 9 degrees. Haven’t been outside for 3 days but have to take my wife into the physical therapist today. Here is a picture I took from my yard yesterday.

Got twenty inches beginning of the week at the camp and supposed to get more than a foot starting tomorrow. Gonna get chilly, maybe 25 below. Good reason to bring in more wood and make sure I’ve got enough charcoal stocked for the egg.
If in doubt leave it out.

The past few days have been cold, high -30's, this morning -38 with wind chill -51. I don't care how long a person has lived in the north that's cold.

I have been thinking about adding a brew belt and insulation to my BBQ propane bottle….

The welder blanket over the BBQ isn’t enough in this weather.

For a little bit this morning I thought I woke up in Oklahoma :esurprised: When I woke up I went out on the porch to get some fire wood and fell on my ass, then it took 5 minutes to chip enough ice off the wood to break it loose. I'm very glad I wasn't scheduled to go to work today, I'm told it's pure chaos there.

Yup. I took a short walk out to the 5th wheel in the yard to check and make sure the radiator heater is still holding the temp above freezing and that nothing had fallen on the roof. We've got about half an inch of ice on everything.

Ice all the way out to the end of my dock which is a 120 feet from the shore. Yesterday the snow was light and fluffy today it starting to ice over. Which my garage wasn’t so full and I could at least get one car in the garage.

Its 34 and raining here now. The rain isn't melting the ice very fast, and its pooling up on top. As long as the temperature keeps rising, we should be out of the ice by midnight.

We had -20 wind chill actually -4 this morning. For Tennessee boys that's brutal.

But thanks to this old post I got a dent out of a keg.

Well the boy's flight into SeaTac got canceled due to ice, so he's laid over in Denver for the night.
Not a total surprise. I think the folks that try to forecast the weather we're a bit optimistic that it was going to warm up as much as they said it would. The rain we got today just laid on top of the ice and now its starting to freeze over again. Our high only got to 1C today, and it's starting to drop.

As far as I'm concerned, the Canadians can have their polar vortex back.
Wish I could trade some of this cold to our Northern Australian friends.

That's a coincidence Shady......I was just about to post a couple of photos of what Xmas Eve looks like on this side of the puddle......thought it might inject a little colour and warmth into the lives of those who only feel cold and see white ATM.
