UJSSM Apple Pie?

Everything I have read says to use neutral spirits when making apple pie moonshine. I am currently making UJSSM and want to make apple pie with some of it. Have any of y'all tried this? How did the corn whiskey taste mix with the apple pie recipe? I know it all comes down to personal taste preference but I wanted yalls opinions before I did it.

Tastes fine. I actually prefer it to neutral apple pie.

It works just fine. At least in my experience...

You should look up a thread called "clear apple pie". I'm almost positive it will peak your interest.

I tried it with white dog sweet feed once and didn't really care for the whiskey taste behind it. If you have doubts about it, make up a cocktail (one glass) using the recipe and see how you like it first.

The times I've made apple pie I used UJSSM that was distilled in a 4 plate column. I thought it was great and liked it better than if neutral was used. Different strokes for different folks

Thats exactly what ill do. After spending the last month saving up low wines for a spirit run, i would be upset if i wasted half of my finished product on something that didn't taste good. thanks for the input

Made it twice now with UJ. The slight whiskey taste to it is really nice imo. Try mixing a glass first see how you like it. If you don't hot apple cider is nice this time of year without alcohol.

Would you by chance have a link? I tried a general search and one just for the title of threads and neither turned it up.

Now there is an idea on how to not waste too much hearts. The apple pie is more for my friends and girls ;) I swear nothing makes a country girl wetter than a good bottle of apple pie haha. The straight white dog is for my own pleasure.
