Welcome from just east of you. What recipe are you using for your rum? Hookrum in T&T is easy for a first and makes a nice drop. Especially after some time on oak. And maybe a little vanilla bean and raisins.

Greetings, Diezel...
Where on earth did you find that design...??? Haven't seen that one around before... For lack of a better term, it has a few "issues"...
Good luck, stay safe, and enjoy the journey...

Hey rad I've seen similar but would like to know the issues you see. It put out 150 proof for my first run ever but if I could educated my builder in some changes that would be great. It only costep me 200.00

Well, first off, it's not a reflux still so it doesn't need a reflux return line... Without forced reflux all you have is a pot still... Besides that, even if the column is packed it is too short to be effective... And if it was a reflux still the reflux return should be located at the top of the packed column rather than halfway down... That's a start...

Would a pot still pull off 75-85 % spirits? What ever it is I am very happy with the results.

an upside down Nixon Stone??? Interesting.. can you give some details on the design, where it came from, the idea behind the condenser being upside down etc etc
if you were to turn the condenser up 180 degrees and run your return as high as possible into the column she'd be a whole lot better.
