simple rib rub.
I wanted to share one of my " tried and true" recipes that ive been perfecting for a few years. Go get a bottle of each:
Ground cinnamon
garlic powder
seasoned salt
black pepper.
Mix em all together and rub your ribs liberally. I wrap mine in foil and bake them at 250 for 1/2 hour per pound.
Next go grab a big ol' bottle of ketchup. Put 6 cups ketchup, a 1/4 cup of dark brown sugar, 1/4 cup of the rub mix above and a few teaspoons of cider vinegar in a saucepan. Heat to a bubble and stir constantly. Finish the ribs on a charcoal grill and sauce em' up.

Ok, I tried it....mixed them all up, grabbed a handful and rubbed all over my ribs, but.....kinda made my nipples burn quite a bit....is that normal?
Hangover? I don't get no stinking hangover!

The snow has melted from in front of my fridge smoker. Time to get some pork in the freezer. Last year I re-stocked my favorite dust. Not sure if any of you have ever heard of this stuff. http://www.frantzcompany.com/sawdust.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" rel="nofollow By far the best smoke wood (if you would call it that) I've ever used. I hold this dust in an old coffee can with some hole drill around the side next to the coals. It does ribs right! a 40lb sack usually lasts me three years.
