Heating element location

In our view 30 gallons and under is considered hobby size. Do not bring anything larger than this to our site.

Heating element location

Post by pochine »

I have a 50lt keg boiler with one 4500w heating element. I want to install a second element. Could I install it directly above the initial element or would this cause too much heat due to it being directly above?

I have a drain at 12 o'clock and the heating element at 6 o'clock. I just want it to look symmetrical.

I would put it at the 3 or 9 oclock position just above your first one. Just make sure it will always be in the wash.
