Butch, if yer in texas i'm sure you have a feed mill somewhere in your travels, take your own containers though, and DO NOT OVERFILL them, i know it's cold in Pa. right now, not sure about your neighborhood though..
if you fill gallon water jugs too full it will blow up when it gets warmer (in your house, truck, car, dining room, aahh, you know what i mean......
and that stuff is a mess to clean up..

Yes I do work in a kitchen and this is one of our suppliers. But most of the large suppliers will sell to individuals, you just have to go down and pick it up at their warehouse ... wherever that may be.
The most I've ever had to do, when ordering on my own is go down to the warehouse and open an account ... which was just basically filling out a form with my address on it. Then I could go down and pick up whatever I wanted ... basically at rates that restaurants pay. This includes things like buckets of molasses and 50 pound bags of sugar.
cheers

molasses
I paid less than $30 U.S. for 10 gallons of unsulphured feed molasses. It came in two 5 gallon buckets. It was 79.5 brix which goes a long, long way.

It's been awhile since I bought my last bucket, but I think it worked out to be about 24 cents a pound or something like that. It's not going to be as cheap as getting it from the feed store. I just like to get it from the "human" feed store.
