green tinted glass

came across some 1/2 gallon 1 gallon glass jugs. they have a light green tint to the glass

safe ? yes, no?

they appear to be glass that would have had something in them that been safe for human consumption . obviously I know that there is no 100% answer if they are safe . but would the color of the glass indicate something added to the glass to give its color that could be unsafe. if you want pictures ill post em up
