Trying to find a mash recipe for poitin. The parent site has one but it doesnt mention sugar beets. The poitin I tasted is sugar beet and malted rye. Very smooth with a creamy mouth feel. I thought that came from potatoes, could sugar beets have that same effect?

Anyone have and experience with that?
