Where to save it?

From time to time, I find a post that is really helpful or interesting to me but that I am not ready to use at the time. Months later, my old mind being what it is, I do not remember where the post was located, or enough about it to do a search. I was wondering if there is a way to save the post to a personal favorites cache on this site without moving it to my computer? ... if that makes sense to you all?

there's no such thing standard on phpbb fora I think.
you'll have to find something yourself, or ask UJ if he wants to change the forumsoftware.

Go to your file menu, click save page as, select Web page complete, call it something that is meaningful and choose somewhere to save it. Press save.
That's the procedure using Firefox but IE is similar.

Copy and paste to Word is the way to go. One can select exactly what you want and fix any spelling mistakes before saving.

Is there any way to put an "add-in" into phpbbs? I mean, php is a programming language. It should not be an undoable thing to add a "bookmarks" feature that would allow you to build your own library of links. I have certainly wanted such a feature myself, it would make keeping track of things easier to do.

I'd prefer the search function was upgraded first. You can always bookmark on your own computer.

this is the only forum I know with the basic software I think, sure it's possible, but I know almost nothing about the how-to.
