A German touring American distilleries

This series of videos from whisky.com visiting the big players and some craft distillers, is really quite comprehensive. I have watched most of them and have learned something with each of them. There are 'fluff' with parts of the tours that talk about the history etc and there are some brand ambassadors that don't seem to have a clue what they are doing, but for the most part, its a good insight into operations, topped off with tastings at the end, many of which are with the master distiller, who reveal a lot of knowledge and secrets (like mash-bills).
The German market for american whisky is pretty much their biggest export and I get the impression that most of these distilleries gave these guys a lot of their time. Enjoy.
