Can any of you very knowledgeable folk have a look at the following link and see if it would work to control my 3kw immersion heater element please.

For a still. No. You want an SCR for a still. Would be alright for a fermenter though.

You're making the typical newbie mistake of assuming that you can control temperature in a still. You need to understand why you can't before you spend any money, or try to distill anything.

Google it. I'm not going to do your research for you. Go over to the build thread and look at controllers. Crankys and jimbos are good ones.

EBay scr controller. $25 and you just plug and play.
