Old wash... can I still use the brute?

Hey guys, I've had a lot going on in life the last 6 months and haven't had a chance to do any runs. With that being said, I have a brute trash can with 6 month old ujsm mash in it. It has defiantly turned to vinegar. My question is can I just dump it out give it a good cleaning with soap and water and be ok to start fermenting in it again?

I'd run it. I ran a mash that sat for a year. It smelled like nail polish remover and vinegr fornicated and had a child. Would I recommend doing it as normal practice? No, but it is done whose case it'll clean you still. Best case it'll be a mighty fine drop.

I see no reason the brute wouldn't be better for wear. Rinse it and go.

Sorry I forgot to answer the question. I lrealy enjoy running odd stuff to see what happens. Brute should be good to use. Scrub and sterilize then set another ferment.

I recently ran a wheat, corn and barley with a lil sugar boost that was over 2 years old. It didn't turn to vinegar or the love-child Jed referred to (lol) but the distillate was tasty. I believe it's worth a try.
Yes, the Brute can be cleaned
