Pot run combining previous Rum run

I'm getting ready to start a new Rum run and have a question regarding incorporating a previous Rum run which didn't make the required proof.
Not sure why, but it happens and I kept the 5L of 20% spirit on oak with the view to adding it to my next Rum run.

Now, as I'm using a 5L Thumper/Air Condenser combined with a Pot Still, I'm in two minds as to whether simply add the "failed" run to the Pot or use some of it in the Thumper?

I have normally used water and a combination of cinnamon/lime/raisins in the thumper and have had great success with it, but this is a new situation to me and any advice from the Guri's is actively sought.
