Yeast Cultivation

Post by IhaveNoPoliticalOpinion »

Well I am getting my hands on some pretty hard to find yeast (Kluveromyces marxianus)
And am wondering could I Cultivate it, by using the yeast that settles out??

and if so would it be best to have many different samples (8 or 9) incase it decides to mutate or become infested with bacteria??

Any help would be appreciated, and if cultivation works and anyones interested I shall send ya some

You shoild be able to cultivate it with a yeast cultivation kit of the type you can get from a well stocked home brewing supply place.
