So I got to looking around today and I have a few gallons of various things I just don't care for and age didn't help em either. Just not up to snuff, IMO.
Experiments mostly, different grain %, essences and learning curve stuff.
I know I have seen "just throw it all back in and run it to a neutral" before.

Question(s) is: Is this procedure a slower than normal spirit run, one and done or a strip then spirit run? What works best?
Planning/thinking on using my full 5' column, copper mesh packed all the way up and reflux it. Tips?

I had a couple gallons that didn't tickle my pickle but it did tickle my head( bad cuts). I watered it down to 20% and ran it of saving all that wasn't heads. Recharged boiler (cut to 25% of course) and charged thumper with apple juice concentrate and apple pie spices. Made a small fore and head cut and collected till it started to get tallsy. Made a damn fine clear apple pie cut to 90 proof.

Only one way to fi d out if it is savable.
