So we will be mashing and stilling in a barn a cross the street from a cop. It is a little risky but the property owner isn't fond of the cop, and the cop isn't permitted on the property any time he wants and so on. They aren't on bad terms though. Would you take this risk?

Better safe than sorry.... I think might be good to find a new place.

'The property owner doesn't like the cop ." What more do you need ? Don't do it there ........ He don't like the owner , you are guilty by association . All he needs is an excuse . Don't get me wrong . My Son-In-Law is a cop and helps me from time to time . He and his cop buddies love what I make . He is the only one knows where he gets his . Situation you describe is disaster waiting to happen .

I may or may not have kin that's a D and he may or may not still so maybe I trust him. Some cops would bust their Nana for jay walking, if ya lucky like me you've met your share of them. I'd be pretty careful, maybe your landlord is a good judge of character.

(Don't do that, id relocate that still. Or put up a fence and a moat

if there is no other option brew lots of beer at all times of day, then when ever mr. cop looks over the road he'll asume your making beer. better yet make beer while you still.

There is a cop in my neighborhood that is completely aware of illegal activity taking place in his neighbors house. It has been this way for over a decade now I would guess. He just minds his own business.

my neighbor across the street was a long haired biker guy. We talked, exchanged a little doobage.
one day i was standing in his garage when a unmarked popo car pulled up.
A woman got out wearing a badge and gun.
His old lady was a homicide detective ..I was freaking out.

I assume most cops would not give a shit unless you sold and would not bother with you unless onduty.

Where I grew up the local police man had a still himself.
