Electric Keg as continuous hot water heater

I am finishing up my electric powered boiler (15.5 Gal, 5500 W element) and plan to use for my first wheated bourbon run. I will use my BAP to mash in and that got me thinking. My first thought was to preheat 15'ish gal of water in my electric boiled and drain it into the BAP t0 preheat water in the BAP. Then I thought what if I elevate the electric boiler above the BAP, heat up the boiler to almost boiling, then crack open the gate valve drain to gravity feed into the BAP, then slowly feed cold water into the top of the boiler and more importantly regulate the incoming cold water to the outflow of hot water. Sorta like an on demand hot water heater.

What do you guys think? Is there a downside to this?

It'll work, just like an electric HLT for brewing. Stir with spoon or use drywall mixer on drill to keep temp even if it matters.
