Good Afternoon,

I've been aging my whiskey using a very simple method, I take a couple cups of Jack Daniels Smoking Chips and soak them for two days. I then rinse them in boiling water and place them in the aging jar. I age the whiskey for several months. I've gotten good results but I want to go for a richer flavor. I'd appreciate any suggestions. Thanks.

You might read T-Pees post right above on oaking and aging. Using oak sticks and charing yourself will give you your own flavor profile.

Go even simpler. Just put them in without messing with them.
