I am after a simple first timer corn moonshine recipe for a 10 gallon still
Would be helpful to get all the right quantities for the mash and the procedure from start to finish.
Is there an old hand out there that can get me started?????

+1 on booners or look up pintoshines corn mash Both use enzymes but the boil/cook method will get higher yield.

Head on over to the Tried and True Recipe forum, find the UJSSM recipe, and dive in by reading more than just the first page... Read all of it if you can... Great place to start... If you're not looking for an All Grain recipe, that is... UJSSM is a sugarhead, like they run on Moonshiners...

Unless you've had some previous experience you would do well to heed Rads advice and stick with a "tried and true" recipe from that list such as UJSSM.
You asked in a previous post "what is AG" which indicates you are probably not ready for that one. Not saying you can't do it, but most of us start
with something much simpler. And UJSSM (Uncle Jessies Simple Sour Mash) makes a damn fine drink. Good luck!

#4 . Focus on one simple Tried and True until you get good at it and understand it . Then move to another and work it the same way . Establish yourself a base line in that manner .

#5 For UJSSM.
I'm FAR from experienced, but I have a 10 gallon batch fermenting as we speak and as for simplicity of ingredients, very detailed step by step explanation of how to do it, and MOST of all, the recommendations given to other newstillers (including myself) by the veterans on this forum, the UJSSM is the (or should be) THE starting recipe for this hobby.
Again, I'm far from being advanced in this adventure, but if I could give any bits of advice, there would be only 4.
1. Read, read, read, sleep, work, eat, read, read. (There's an incredible amount of useful and important information here!)
2. Listen to the veterans. They have the knowledge, experience, hints, tips and tricks.
3. Use the search feature. One thing I have noticed in my readings...people asking questions that a simple search would answer for them.
4. Wash, rinse, repeat.
Be safe and enjoy!

This is where I got my first corn whiskey recipe.

I've since started using cracked corn because it's 1/4 the price of flaked corn and changed my grain bill to 2/3 corn 1/3 malt. I would say corn liquor is one of the best liquids this side of heaven.

Did your change result in a more "corny" full flavor ???

Actually there still is alot of corn flavor. I mostly did this so it was easier to strain the wort. I went from 25% malt to now 33.33333%. it seems to just help out a bit more. I haven't noticed much of a difference in flavor unless I add a few lbs of rye, chocolate or use ESB malt instead. So I'll do a 12gal wash with 22lbs corn and 11lbs malt. I've been trying to make everything as easy as possible.
