I have been reading the forums for a while and finally dicieded to join the community!

I am a chemistry student, so distilling isn't new for me. However, distilling at a bigger scale, and with food is new.

I'm quite impulsive and driven about nearly all the subjects concerning sepperation methods and ingredient behavior in certain circumstances. I am looking forward helping fellow distillers if my knowledge is applicable.

What you may have learned as a chemistry student is only scratching the surface in relation to what we do in this hobby... Take some time to read through the "A little spoon feeding for New & Novice Distillers" link in my signature, as well as the entire parent site, remembering that some information is inaccurate or dated, and you'll discover that there is a whole lot more to distillation of spirits than you've been taught...

From one newbie to another, definitely read the spoonfeeding post, and as much else you can from this site. Forget all the youtube videos and such, too much contradicting info. These guys here have been there, done that, and have pisted proven methods, proven equipment, and proven recipes!
