sulphuric acid?

does anyone here use sulfuric acid to lower the PH level in there mash?

No. Don't. If you NEED to lower a mash pH (which I seriously doubt), use citric acid (lemon juice). Or better yet, use phosphoric acid. Yeast LOVE phosphorus. But don't add sulfur to your mash.

Only for rum, and only if it needs it. I haven't had to adjust one for years.
Unless you have raised the pH to clarify a rum wash and collect the skummings, it is doubtful you will need to adjust it, especially if using dunder, but if you clarify and re-adjust pH with sulfuric instead of phosphoric, DAP should be added.
