Hello from central Florida

Hi, I found this forum and joined to get the information I need to try my hand at a new hobby. My wife and I have made wine from kits before but never tried making a mash and distilling it. So I met someone who had his own setup and was invited over to watch it run and try the results. I was really impressed. So I made my own setup with his help and it worked great! My still is small and can only run about 3-1/2 to 4 gallons at a time. I just tried to make a sugar mash and it didn't turn out very good only got to about 3 percent alcohol. So I'm here to learn how to make small batches in a 5 gallon bucket for the size of my still. Looking forward to a lot of good information on this site and anyone that can point me in the right direction for small size recipes would greatly be appreciated

Hey, Graggy.
Try one of our Tried & True recipes from the main page. It's near impossible for them to fail.
Hopefully your still is safe and up to snuff.

It's a great hobby, and I'm glad you found us.

Welcome!
