Are my Kegs SS?

I purchased two kegs and trying to determine if they are SS or not. I have attached (hopefully) some pictures. There are markings on the larger one but none on the smaller one. None of the markings indicate it's SS and there's no 305L or anything similar.

I have attempted to use the scratch with a key and hit it listening for a ding or a dong but I can't tell the difference. lol

I just tried cutting it with the saw attachment on my knife and it scratched it slightly but definitely couldn't cut any pieces off as someone in another post would indicate aluminum.

Just by looks both are ss, but if have a grinder you can use it to teat it really quick. Cut a small nick in the skirt on the bottom. If she sparks as the griding wheel hits it, it's ss. Aluminum won't spark.

Yep says it right there on the keg, rust free steel written in German (stainless steel) It may not have the grade written as some kegs use strange grades specific for beer kegs. Can't help ya with the little one but it sure looks like stainless. Aluminum is soft and light, it should be easy to pick

Thanks!

I'm 99% positive the little one is stainless. The bigger one was more of the concern.

A couple of nice looking kegs you got there...test the small one, the German made one is defiantly SS.
