Luca from Italy!

Post by Lucazzu »

Hi guys nice to meet you!
I'm Luca and i'm from Italy,
I've just started to read and inform me about distillation, I just bought a cheap still on eBay for 130 eu more or less.
Here in IT there's a lack of information about distilling and i just found you, everything looks cool here, i wish to learn more from you! Good job guys!

I'm a little bit scared for my first run , since of the cuts , head hearts and tail. You know , i don't know how to cuts and i'm scared about methanol and so on,

I'm continuing to read and learn and learn i think Saturday i'll have my first run to clean and to look how my still will work.

Do you have any suggestion for me about cuts?4

See you in the next posts guys thank you!

Cheers

Many a post has been made on the methanol subject: Check these out.

Welcome Luccazzu,
I was born in the garfagnana but have lived in the states since I was 1, there is a lot to learn here by reading but it may be a little difficult if English is your second language. But please keep reading and asking questions and let everyone know that English is not your primary language and maybe we will not be to harsh on you :)

Hi cuginosgrizzo!
Your nick looks so... Italian! do you have some Italian ancestors?!

I'll! I'm reading and asking continuously! I want to learn, i've just done a sugarwash and just stilled the first 9/25 lt ,

I hope that 'll be good!
My wish is to make some good Rum and brandy , since i love 'em!
