How does a bokabob not explode?

So I've touched them, looked at them, explored them, and also read into my eyes bleed. My only question about the Bokabob still is that it doesn't seem to be open to Atmosphere. I see pressure relief valves on them but no way for the steam to escape. I'm just hoping someone could give me a quick explanation.
It seems that when you are going to reflux mode for about 30 minutes with the output valve closed it would build up pressure even if you're condensing the steam back in the condensate. Maybe the pressure relief from condensing the steam equals the pressure gain from the liquid in the boiler turning the steam in the first place? But then how do you release the pressure from the initial creation of steam?
