Hola from the South of Australia.

Thought you might appreciate this label that a friend of mine found on his travels. Wish I had thought of them myself!

Hope you have all had a wonderful and safe Christmas

That's a repurposed Wild Turkey Rare Breed Rye bottle. I really liked the stopper, but it only fits these bottles. It's a smaller diameter than most.
She said you wouldn't mind as long as I didnt use the naked pics where you tattooed "Property of CoogeeBoy".

My wife told me that my painters tape and sharpies were fine for my at home stock, but if we're taking something to a party it needs to be labelled prettier. Looks like 251 posts to review!! Hopefully someone in here gives me a step by step instruction manual, because I'm not artistic at all!!

I made this for a HBB that had some slightly over-toasted oats in it.

Any tricks to make the labels more resilient to spirit leaking down the side?

I use a product made by krylon called crystal clear. This seems to help out a lot As you can see in the picture these labels have been coated with 2 or 3 Coats.

Before retiring I used photoshop but have lost memory on a lot of the functions. It is fun to see the creativity and talent of many of our members.

Hard to say exactly , its more of a blend than anything, my UJ lives in a 50L American Oak Barrel......as I take a few bottles out the barrel gets topped up with more UJ that has been pre oaked in a stainless keg.
Ive been doing it like that for 8-9,years now, It works a little like a Solera system. The newest white dog in the stainless keg would be 4 months old....the oldest in it ??????
I never empty my barrels , once they are full they stay full.
