how to get rid of methanol

I'm trying to operate the continuous still. I built still at my home. I would like to preheat the wash ( to get rid of methanol) before feed it to the still,
but I don't know about..
1. temp. that best for get rid of methanol and ethanol or spirit not to evap.
2. how long to maintain at that temp.
