Flat top still

So is a flat top still a good or bad idea!? Pro and cons....?

They work fine. I have a cube shaped still, 35 gallons. Works great.

Pro: less height for the same capacity. Useful when doing vodka. My 35 gallon cube is shorter than a 15 gallon keg.

Con: it's easy to fill it too full and not have room for the expanding liquid.
