We want to make sure no alcohol got into the ground or water, streams in that area.
Hold on a sec, let me run down to the stream and fill up a couple jugs!

I felt a great disturbance in the Force this morning, as if 3 million fifths suddenly cried out in terror and were suddenly emptied all at once onto the ground. I fear something terrible has happened.

Officials are trying to determine if any bourbon spilled.....They are checking that at this time
Hope they established a no smoking area around the "possibly spilled bourbon"
With several thousand Government employees checking, many of them will also want a good cigar

Tried the other site and got, 'Sorry, this site is not accessible in your region.'

WTF?

This one worked okay, helluva mess. Obviously faulty planning and work; shoulda removed a lot of the full barrels, and braced the job before working on the structure.

Hmmmm…….. 9000 Barrels X 53 Gallons = 477,000 Gallons X $80/Gl = $38,160,000.00 Not chump change. Why would they be using such an old building to store something of this value?

Sure are a lot of undamaged barrels in the downstack. I think a couple would easily fit into the back of my pickup.

WIski all the rick houses are like this, this one is from the 1940's so it is one of the newer ones. Most are all wood with metal or brick siding.

It appears the half of the building that's still standing has a floor every 10 or 12 ft
I don't see any evidence of that on the collapsed half
It kinda looks like, the two halves of the building aren't designed the same way
Also, why are the two halves not connected to each other :?:

I am surprised people have not started looting the barrels of bourbon.....

I reckon barrels that survived the collapse will sell for big money in the fall. :lolno: :lolno:

I reckon they hit bottom and won't recover their former position without some capital investment and a fair bit of sweat equity.

It would have been a very bad day to be moving barrels in that rickhouse.

I have yet to see a word about injuries. so I would assume there were none.

That would be a story to tell the grand kids.

Or worse (maybe better), drowned in thousands of gallons of bourbon. At least I'd die with a smile on my face
