cleaning fusels

hey.. does anyone have a good method to remove fusel oils and all that from low wine storage containers?
PBW then scrubbing with a bottlebrush have done a decent job on the glass demijohns i've used, but isn't really a practical method on a large stainless keg. normally a bit of dirt is not a concern but obviously i've now decided said keg would be better utilised holding beer..
so looking for something more CIP.. just wondering if there's other science i can use here.. acid cleaners? vinegar steam?
